Cochrane- Christmas

over the next few days, i am going to TRY to get caught up on my blogging... try being the key word :)
i also just bought a new blog template and i hope to have it up some time soon. more on that later! ok on to the session :)

i enjoy doing sessions for the Cochrane family. i did one, with just the kids, in the spring. kylie and aiden are great subjects! when they smile they are genuine... and adorable :) i already told krystle this, but they are some of my favorite kids to shoot (not to take away from any other kids :) so i was happy when they wanted to book a christmas session. we headed downtown. i love doing sessions downtown, there is such a great variety of backgrounds!

now on to the kids :)

Military- Jill Lee

the second military session i got to do was for jill lee. she is 8 months pregnant with a baby girl and her husband is deployed. several of my other clients sent me her name, so i was excited to meet her. she is an adorable, tiny, pregnant lady!! (i was never tiny when i was pregnant... but that is a different story! i digress!) we met at ogden park (my first time shooting there), the light was beautiful that morning ;)
it was great to meet you jill! and thank you dave for all that you do!

Military-The Story Family

there is an organization that matches photographers up with military families. so that the loved ones of a solider who is deployed, can have their pictures taken then sent to the solider (totally free). i really wanted to get involved, but i lacked one of the qualifications that the organization required.
i have had friends whose husbands were in the military and deployed. i saw how much of a sacrifice the family makes on a daily basis, so i wanted to do something to help. i know that we can never say thanks enough for all they do!
a couple of months ago i shared that i would like to take some free sessions for military families. and i got the opportunity to do TWO!

the first was the story family. emily, haden, and fin. grayson is deployed. i really enjoyed meeting the story family ;) we did the session at the beach. it was a really nice day. we were able to get some cute family shots, then the boys played in the water!

Franke Family

i am finally up to date with my editing!! so before my session tonight i thought i would try to get some of my recent sessions up on the blog. so sit back and enjoy...

the franke family was one of my holiday mini sessions at the beach. such a beautiful family! i don't know if it hurts a man to hear that his boys are beautiful, but these boys are beautiful! they had the bluest eyes!! so adorable!

The Langan family

this past saturday i did a session for the langan family. rhiannon and i went to college together AND we ran the battleship half together :) bryan ran it too... but not with us! he finished and then turned around and ran back to find rhi and finished the race with us (about an extra 3 miles or so!).
anyway... we did their family session downtown. we found some fun places to shoot. we even walked up to the place they got married and took a couple outside. there just happened to be someone there who let us take a couple inside. how cool!!

The Little family

i got to do a session for our friends, the littles, last week. we met at greenfield lake :) minus the mosquitoes it was a great session (what is the deal?? don't the mosquitoes know it is almost thanksgiving and time for them to go a way?!!)

i met the willeford family at hallyburton park a couple of weeks ago to do their family christmas session. i had not done a session at hallyburton, although we go there all of the time to play. but we found some fun spots!! as always they were cute and easy to work with! thanks guys!
